Anzu teaches a ballet class for some younger intermediate students while also attending classes for herself. She is also looking for a secondary occupation to help make ends meet.

Heterosexual. If she were given the occasion, she might have made out with a girl, but she isn't going to ever date one.
APPEARANCE
Anzu is a very pretty girl. She's very slim, and it's obvious she's worked hard to maintain her physique. She has dark hair, and blue-ish gray-ish eyes, it's pretty hard to tell. She's very pale, and might whine if you'd listen that she doesn't tan, only burn. All in all, she's very attractive, but it's clear that there's some amount of maintenance involved.
As for clothing, most of the time, Anzu can almost come off as a tomboy because of the clothing she chooses. Despite the fact she is really quite pretty, at the same time, she often doesn't wear the most flattering clothing and especially not the most trendy. Anzu needs her friends to help moderate her wardrobe or she would wear baggy sweaters and the same jeans she wore in high school.
PERSONALITY
Anzu has a lovely, bright, optimistic personality. She's the type of person that could throw a cactus at someone, and they'd brush it off and laugh because it's just Anzu. She's very warm and welcoming, and will consider anyone to be her friend after a conversation, as long as they are positive and nice in return. She often gives people more chances than they might deserve after they've betrayed her trust, but that's just how she was wired. She's made to trust people, and though it continually frustrates her when people don't live up to her expectations, she's never going to stop trying.
As stated before, Anzu is a little bit of a tomboy. She gets along with guys better than she does other girls, usually, probably because she finds them easier to get along with. She's very active and competitive, and will take on any challenge. She seems to thrive on proving she can do things as well, if not better, than any guy who would attempt the same thing.
Anzu also can be a little abrasive if you rub her the wrong way or especially if you are cruel to her friends. She simply won't stand for it, and if you insult one of her friends, chances are she won't like you. And chances are even more likely that she'll call you on it and point out why you are in the wrong. She's been known to scare people away from those too weak to prevent themselves, and is a fairly strong girl that can take care of herself -- as long as she's not needed for a convenient motivation to get Yami no Yuugi to do something. She has a pretty high tolerance for sexist comments and actions but there is a line and if you cross it, she'll probably physically injure you (she punched a customer at Burger World who repeatedly was inappropriate).

HISTORY
Anzu Masaki's early life is not really elaborated on in the series. It doesn't go into detail -- we don't get to know much about her home life or her family. In reality, what we know about Anzu is what we see, and that all starts in her early years of highschool.
Anzu is fairly popular at Domino High -- she's a bright and cheerful person, pretty athletic. She has no problem showing the boys she can beat them at their own game, while looking cute at the same time. She did well in her classes, and got along with most of her classmates, even though she wasn't insanely close to many people.
She met Yuugi Motou, and her whole life changed.
Yuugi was a duelist, and Anzu quickly became fast friends with Yuugi, Jounouchi Katsuya, and Honda Hiroto. The group was very tight-knit, and all of them worked and helped each other, sticking together through thick and thin.
IN-GAME HISTORY
Anzu has moved to Harmony because after funding to send the gang to Egypt, she no longer has the funding to move to New York and attempt to attend Julliard. However, despite the fact her biggest dream was never truly realized, she's still fairly positive about her position in life. She's very close to being a ballerina for the Harmony troupe and she's determined to get the job, even teaching classes for minimum payment to put a good foot forward.

Anzu was pretty close to her back in the day and she still cares about her and wants to try and keep her out of trouble. Anzu will always be there for her, through thick and thin – but she will also not hesitate to share her opinion of she feels it needs to be shared. Shizuka reminds her of times that are so long past, and sometimes? It's nice to relive them. |

He’s entitled, bitter, and angry, and worst of all, he picks on her friends. It’s not likely they’ll ever become bosom buddies that brush each other’s hair and gab about American Idol, but she does respect the fact that he takes care of his little brother. She would just really rather he stop being so mean to everyone. |

It was just that his brother was pretty strict about keeping the kid far, far away from her and her friends. Despite that, she always got the weirdest feeling he might have had a crush on her – not that he does anymore, but he’s always been a cute kid, and she gets along with him whenever she does get a chance to talk to him. |
